Nikkei which is one Japan’s largest media conglomerates has reported that Sony has been working on a combination of cellphone/game system for nearly a year. It is a rumor that has been going on for years now. But Nikkei has a reputation of not tossing plausible ideas around as actual reports. Coming to think of it Sony is an important player in the field of cell phones and also gaming environment. Well it is definitely vague with reports saying that it is going to compete directly with iPhone and there has been a project team up and running for this. So as usual it is still rumor but this time from a trustable source. If it becomes real, well I don’t know what to say.
