Philips X550 with month-long phone battery life
The most important thing in a mobile phone is its battery as it is these days more important than oxygen for some people. So as technologies sprout and innovations bloom, more than a few people await news on this element as though waiting for rain in a desert. The Philips Xenium has now answered their prayers with its new phone, Philips X550. This phone apparently has a battery that can last up to a month in stand-by. However this one doesn’t have 3G connectivity and relies only on GPRS and EDGE for data transfers. So if you are living in China and Eastern Europe, you are lucky, else you may want to shift there.
Other features of the phone include QVGA display with 262k colors, Bluetooth, FM radio with RDS, 3.2MP autofocus camera, MicroSD card support and up to 8GB memory. No prices revealed as of now.
