Philips DirectLife explains why you are getting fat
Spondylosis, aching fingers, protruding belly are some of the effects of sitting in front of a workstation in a cubicle. Daily exercising is but limited to walking to the water cooler or the next cubicle for some chat. To clear the myth that the so called exercising helps you stay fit, Philips has released a new nifty little gadget.
Philips just announced the new DirectLife product. It’s an activity monitor that you throw in your pocket, clip to your belt, or wear around your neck. It then senses all your movements, and tell you exactly what your daily energy expenditure is. The sensor (and the software that reads the information out of it) will help you to determine how much energy you expend on a daily basis, and how much you should be expending on a daily basis.
The system is available in the USA and Netherlands for $79 along with a 4 month subscription.
