It is said that information received from right ear is processed by the left side of the brain, which, we should all know by now, works better and faster than the right hand side. Hence, we shall henceforth make sure that if we’re making a loved one promise commitment or give a friend some crucial information, we speak only into their right ears. This was observed in a study done by Dr. Luca Tommasi and Daniele Marzoli from the University of Chieti, Italy. Their subjects included people in nightclubs, who were requested cigarettes in either ear. It so happened that they got more cigarettes from those who heard the message from their right ear as compared to those who heard it from their left ear. This clearly states that people are more likely to respond positively and effectively when spoken to in their right ear.

This study will surely affect the way some folk hold their cell phones. Left-handed people surely will be the more stubborn of the lot. Ever noticed?
