Pentax will be offering a new white K2000 as part of a kit starting in February 2009.The kit will include a pair of white lenses — the SMC Pentax DA L 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL lens and the SMC Pentax DA L 50-200mm F4-5.6 AL lens. The original K2000 was launched in September for $699. The 10-megapixel d-SLR features a 2.7-inch LCD, sensor-shifting stabilization, dust reduction, and the company's auto picture mode. Considering the February launch, it would have been wiser to go with red, but that's just my opinion, pricing for the new white camera is not yet known.
