Paper magazines to feature video advertisements

Well this is not some time travelers fantasy, as you would be seeing video advertisements in select copies of the US show business title Entertainment Weekly. The magazine will have a 2.7mm thick LCD, a chip which can hold upto 40 minutes of video and a USB-rechargeable battery. The first clips will preview programmes from US TV network CBS and show adverts by the drinks company Pepsi. The technology though expensive than traditional print ads is surely more effective than e-ink technology which Esquire magazine experimented with last year.
