Panasonic has created a robot that will give out drugs to patients. These robots will help pharmacists’ complete prescriptions and will be available in a few months time. The robot will be connected to electronic medical records and will scuttle around Japanese hospitals picking up prescriptions from patients. A hospital with 400 beds can get the job completed in just 2 hours. The robots are set to be sold in Europe and US as well and Panasonic has plans to develop other medical robots that will help old people move around.
