Panasonic VDR-D310 and NV-GS320 DV cams

Panasonic starts off the new year with the VDR-D310 and NV-GS320 digital video cameras. Both of them share same features except that the VDR-D310 can record on DVD-R/RW/RAM media whereas the NV-GS320 uses Mini-DV tapes. Common features include recording on SDHC media, Leica lens with 10 X optical zoom, 3CCD camera system, 3 Megapixel sensor, 2.7 inch wide LCD and USB 2.0 port. An interesting feature is the auto image stabilization which activates automatically as the camera detects hand movement. You can also shot still images however with the NV-GS320 it is possible to take 1.2 Megapixel still images along with video. Included accessories are AC adapter, remote control and multiple AV cables.


The cameras will go on sale in Japan from January 25 with the VDR-D310 selling for 95,000 Yen ($ 800) and NV-GS320 for 75,000 Yen ($ 635).
