Panasonic Japan has announced the LF-P968C super drive which will be available in multiple colors matching the Letsnote R6 notebook. Available in black and red the drive connects via USB and sports a DVD writing speed of 8X. It comes with a generous software bundle and is compatible with Windows.

The Panasonic LF-P968C USB drive measures 135×135.6×14.8mm and weighs 290 grams. It goes on sale in Japan from May 18 for 23,800 Yen ($ 200).
