Panasonic Japan will start selling the Viera PZ600 range of HDTV's from September in Japan. The crown of the Viera PZ600 series is TH-103PZ600 the mammoth 103 inch Plasma. Four models will be launched with the following sizes 50", 58" 65" and 103" which share the same features like 1920 x 1080 resolution, 16:9 image ratio, 4000:1 contrast ratio, Analog / Digital tuner and 16 bit image processing. Now for the pricing the TH-103PZ600 will be available by September 1st in Japan for a staggering 6000,000 ($ 51,000). With over 5000 units to be manufactured for sale worldwide it is sure to find a place in every millionaires home.
Update - Panasonic USA has announced that the 103 incher will be available in the USA by December 2006 for $ 70,000.

The TH-50PZ600 - 50" will be available for 690,000 ($ 5800), TH-58PZ600 - 56" for 850,000 ($ 7200), TH-65PZ600 - 65" for 990,000 ($ 5400). Panasonic is taking advance order for all models except the 103 incher as it yet to undergo final tests.
