Verizon and Palm announced the much anticipated Palm Treo 700w at the CES. It runs on Windows Mobile 5.0.2 and includes the Office suite, Pocket Explorer, Windows Media Player, Pocket Messenger etc. It can also sync with Microsoft Exchange 2003 server. It is powered by a 312 Mhz Intel Xscale processor and 128 MB of ROM. The 700w includes a 1.3 Megapixel Camera, 240 x 240 16 bit TFT touchscreen, QWERTY Keyboard, Bluetooth 1.2 and SD / MMC card slot for Memory expansion. The Treo 700w is optimized for use with Verizon's EV-DO network for faster downloads and surfing. It has a talktime of 270 minutes and standby time of 300 hours. It measures 4.3 x 2.3 x 0.9D inches and weighs 6.3 oz.

The Palm Treo 700w is available with Verizon Wireless for $ 399.99 with a $ 100 rebate and two year contract.
