Here is fresh dope on the Palm Gandalf smartphone. it will be a 3G handset with HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. Rejoice all you Palm OS fans as there would be a Windows Mobile and a Palm OS version (without the touchscreen of course) as well. The Gandalf will sport a 2.4 inch QVGA display supporting 65k colors, with all the leading manufacturers moving to 16 million color screen wonder why Palm is stuck with 64k colors. Processor details are not known but the device will have 256MB ROM and 64MB RAM.

The Palm Gandalf measures 117mm x 65mm x 13.8mm and weighs 165 grams. No information is available on the pricing and availability, but I doubt if anyone is interested.
