The iPhone 3Gs in all it’s updated glory has brought better camera with video recording capabilities to the table (about time!!!). But for those who still think it could have been better and don’t mind spending a few bucks more to take the cameras specs up a notch will love this, the OWLE iPhone mount. With what looks like a variation of the Hamma’s gaming wheel for the iPhone, the OWLE mount, made from a single anodized aluminum block is designed to enhance the devices video and still capture features by adding a 0.45x wide angle/macro lens (that also accepts any other 37mm mount lenses) and a boom mic attachment for the iPhone’s headphone jack. All you have to do is slip the handset into the cradle and you’re good to go. But is all this worth $129.99? Perhaps though seems like quite a large addition which would be almost the same as carrying around my superzoom.
