The Oregon Scientific BAR200A Weather in Motion Atomic Clock with Forecaster is a handy device to have, especially when you plan to spend most of the day outdoors. The clock uses infrared motion-sensing technology to automatically adjust its display depending upon how far away from the base you are. The current time, day and weather forecast are displayed in large digits and icons when you are far away from the weather clock. As you approach the unit, the Weather in Motion switches to showing the indoor and outdoor temperature readings, while the time and weather forecast icons automatically reduce in size. You can also set to auto "scroll" mode and the display will smoothly shift the information every five seconds. The alarm clock automatically syncs to U.S. or European Atomic Clocks and adjusts for the new Daylight Savings Time standards. The large reverse LCD screen also features an on-demand backlight.

Outdoor weather conditions are updated using an included battery-operated wireless module which works from up to 98 feet away. The Weather In Motion retails for $65, and is available online at Oregon Gadgets for just under $50.
