Only 529 film cameras sold in Japan
The days of the good old film camera are numbered, in the digital age film cameras prove far too expensive. Besides why would anyone want one when most of these photos end up on the computer to be shared around on social networking sites. That's why the total number of film camera sales has reduced to just 529 according to the CIPA (Camera & Imaging Products Association) in the land of technology Japan. No prizes for guessing the obvious. It's like telling me ill catch a cold in winter.
Who wants to buy a camera that has to be loaded with a film after every 35 photos, when a digital camera can give unlimited number of clicks for a limited battery life. The country where all the rage started has now adapted the digital camera, these feelings echo in all our minds.
