If you’re afraid of snakes then here’s something that can help you get cured, or atleast dare to try doing so. The Omnitread robot comes in two sizes, four inches and eight inches. The smaller one weighs a nine pounds and has enough power to lift half its body above the ground. The robot can also expand and stretch its seven segments as and when required. Now that’s surely a lot scarier than a real snake. I wonder when we’ll see robots that reduce in size.

There’s not much said about the eight inch mechanical reptile and I don’t know why. The four inch version is christened as OT4.
