NTT DoCoMo F883iES phone for the aged

While phones for the kids and the aged might not be a hit in the US they are doing brisk business in the far east. Japan's telecom major NTT DoCoMo has announced the F883iES also knows as RakuRaku Phone IV (RakuRaku means comfortable or easy). The phone has special features to help the aged like the GPS function which informs the family about the user's location with the touch of a button. The phone has advanced voice recognition where the user can input the destination into the GPS just by speaking it out. Another feature is 'Super Clear Voice' which automatically adjusts the speaker volume based on ambient noise. The keys are rather large and easy to use. Other features include 3.1 Megapixel camera, 2.4 inch 256k color screen, Pedometer, Infrared, E-mail etc.

Something for granny

In addition to the above colors the phone will be available in white as well. Need I need to tell it is a Japan only product.
