Nokia Slashes Phone Prices

nokia-logo.jpg When you hold a commanding position in your field, everything you do can affect rivals in a big way. Concerned about the cash crunch faced by most economies today, Nokia has decided to slash prices on its mobile phones. Nokia holds 40% of the world market for cell phones and they planning a 10% cut on many of its phones. Maybe this exercise is to make good the lack of sales due to staggering markets. Whatever the reason, I don't think people will be queuing up just because Nokia mobiles got cheaper.
