Even the Roman champions had some easier tests to make it to the arena. The much awaited Nokia N97 had to go through some hard times as it proved its toughness in this grueling stress test. The test included five parts beginning with the screen scratch test in which a coin, a stylus and a key was rubbed on the screen with deliberate force. Next it came out unscratched from a bag full of coins and keys. This was to test its resistant to damage when in a pocket full of other items. Though the most fragile paint is present on the rims of the phone, the rest of it made it through on the phone in the next test which was the paint job test.

As if these weren’t hard enough to watch done, next came the cereal and water proof test. The names of the same explain what the phone was put through. It made it through the water after a 2.5 hour hiatus. The phone used for these tests surely wasn’t born for greater things, nor for connecting people.
