
The Nokia N85 features a 2.6" AMOLED display in addition to a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual-LED flash has had its North American 3G variant tested and approved by the FCC. The phone is also loaded up with an FM transmitter, a microSD card slot, and a standard 3.5mm audio port that pulls double-duty for the TV-out function. The phone features advanced GPS, which allows for geo-tagging of your photos. The phone uses the tri-band UMTS (850/1900/2100MHz) support for both AT&T's 3G network and European 3G networks. Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support is also on board as a backup system. The phone uses v9.3 Symbian operating system and boasts a decent battery life with a standby of 363 hours and a talktime of nearly 7 hours. Nokia even suggest 25 hours of music playback is possible.
The Nokia N85 is expected to be available soon, for approx $665.
