Nokia may change their naming scheme, plus some new releases
However hard you try to fathom the monotony that the four-digit naming scheme, you really cannot do much about it, thanks to Nokia’s multitude of phone models that keep churning out. Rumor has it that the company has finally decided to get over the monotonous nomenclature use series alphabets to identify the phones they make and the consumers they target. There’ll be a C-series that will target low end phones that fit into every budget, the X-series phones will be entertainment driven (no prizes for guessing this), E-series will stick to the email and business phones and best of all, the S-series, which will have really high end phones that will be available in limited editions.
There’s also word that the Nokia C5 will ship in June for 140 Euros ($192) while the Nokia C3 will ship in July. Of course there’s the N8 that’s also set to fall in line.
