Nintendo computer for just $12

nintendo_computer.jpg A 27-year-old graduate student has built a computer out of an old Nintendo and plans to turn it into a $12 quasi-computing contraption with modifications like flash memory, wireless connectivity, and educational software. There by beating the One Laptop Per-Child (OLPC) initiative in price. OLPC's laptops were initially said to be of just $100, today however it actually costs $187 add to that the list of games designed for it makes it a tough cookie to crackle. By simply adding a few basic games to the NES could help it become a gaming device for peanuts.

Buying the $12 core and then probably adding a lot of other accessories will still keep the budgets under $50. Although i wonder from where does he plan on getting all those NES systems once demand soars?
