The Nike Plus is a result of collabration beween two of the world's most stylish and innovative companies - Nike and Apple. This is only the first step, we can only wait to see more products over time. Nike Plus is a technology which allows the runners shoes to communicate with their iPod Nanos. The Nike+iPod sports kit consists of a sensor which you insert under the liner of your shoe and a receiver which has to be attached to the Nano. The shoe sensor transmits information like distance, time, speed and calories burnt in real time to the iPod, which is displayed on the screen. In case you are in the middle of a heavy session a voice speaks the data to you so you do not have to look at the screen.
