Nike and Apple trying to integrate iPod to your gym routine

nike_&_apple.jpg After the successful partnership that resulted in Nike+ technology more than a year ago, Nike and Apple are at it again. Earlier their wireless system allowed certain Nike shoes embedded with a sensor to communicate with Apple's iPod Nano. This time around they are wooing gym equipment manufacturers and health clubs to make the iPod compatible with gym equipment. This will allow members to plug their iPod Nano into cardio equipment to track workouts, set goals and upload the information to a Nike Web site. The new technology will probably be functional by this summer.
