Next Gen 8GB Zune player specification leak
Retailer Fry's has unknowingly given out details of the next generation Zune player in an online store listing for a blue 8GB Zune. The new Zune will be available in Blue and Silver colors. The store listing mentions of a "Device to Cloud" feature, which allows you to use wireless hotspots to update your collection, browse Zune Marketplace, exchange favorites with friends, or buy songs. The "Channels" feature allows for tagging of songs from the FM radio by the player that can later be purchased directly from the Zune or when it returns to its host PC.
The 8GB Zune will also feature two games that have been out in beta. In fact, the Fry's specs say that free games will come preloaded on Zune players, including Texas Hold'em and Hexic, they are said to have Xbox 360 like support for soundtracks and the ability to share audio podcasts among other Zune users. The 8GB Zune should cost around $150 and a 16GB model will set you back by $200.
