Thomson at the CES announced the cool Lyra X3000 PMP. Thomson's new Lyra X3000 is also a PVR and is supposed to support DirectTV2Go. The X3000 has a 3.6" TFT Color screen with 320 x 240 resolution. It can store upto 40 movies so it may have a capacity of 30 GB. The X3000 uses IR, MPEG4 technologies, real time recording from an analog source or transfer from a PC. It is also compatible with Audible.com for Audio Book fans out there. The lightweight portable entertainment device weighs under eight ounces and is only 3/4 of an inch thick.

The LYRA X3000 by RCA is available in January with a suggested retail price of $399.
