ipod-nano.jpg For those of you who totally hated the jog wheel in the iPod Nano, here’s some matter for consideration. The company has done away with the wheel only to replace it with an awesome multi-touch display screen. All it takes is a few touches here and there on your 1.54 inch screen to get your favorite tunes playing on this rendition of the Nano that’s 46% smaller and 42% lighter than its predecessor. Definitely, it has a whole new operating system (that isn’t iOS) and maintains a streamlined navigation scheme. It provides with features such as a healthy 24 hour battery life, Voiceover (with 29 languages), FM radio, Nike+ support and a pedometer. It has hard volume buttons.

It maintains the four-color scheme as the iPod Shuffle and in addition also adds graphite red and Global Fund-sponsored red. The 8GB versions costs $149 while the 16GB Nano will come for $179.
