New GM car radios to come with Pause and Play function for radio, big whoop!
In-car audio systems are getting zany-er and zanie-er. If they didn’t look complicated enough or didn’t have as many features as you thought before, things area little different now. A few of GM’s new cars that include the Chevy Equinox, Buick LaCrosse, GMC Terrain and Cadillac SRX are going to be equipped with a new system that’s built into the stereo. It’s not as grand as some of the higher end vehicles that come with all sorts of functions save rocket launchers and camouflage, these systems will feature a Pause and Play function for the radio. Sounds so familiar? I wonder where I’ve heard of this before. That’s right; Apple’s fifth gen Nano has a feature called Live Pause. Knew I heard it somewhere.
Anyway, GM is going to launch these vehicles with the radio pause option built into the cars audio system so drivers can continue listening to their favourite song on the radio even after being disturbed in between. It records up to 20 minutes of live radio so if whatever you’re doing takes longer you will miss a bit.
