UK based media processor manufacturer 3DLabs demonstrated the capabilities of their product using TeleAtlas maps and in a 3D modeled version of Paris. Showcased at the 3GSM-Congress in Barcelona, the 3DLabs product offers a real 3D experience as opposed to what you get on most GPS systems where they actually ’tilt’ a 2D map to create a false view of 3D flyover. The unique interface wont be limited to GPS systems as 3DLabs will make it available for DAP's too. You can expect devices featuring 3D Labs new interface in the near future.
