The French have conceived 'Project Romeo', well it is not for the restoration of the Eiffel tower but a project to develop a 1.2 ~ 1.5m two legged robot to help the visually impaired elderly. Scheduled to be completed in 2011 the aim of the project is to develop Romeo a 30kg robot. As seen in the above video the first prototype is Nao, and by looking at it, you can tell that surely a lot of work remains.
