MV Augusta has launched their 2004 Superbike that somehow managed to get a F4 hot iron branding. The company though, has stated that ‘perfection’ is the driving force behind the designing of this bike. The bike’s engine and chassis have been completely redesigned, thus dropping the overall weight by 22 pounds as compared to the 2009 model. The inline-four engine provides 186 horsepower and a 12-horse gain as well. Other features include Marelli 7BM ECU that controls eight fuel injectors, variable length intake manifolds and traction controls, Sport and Rain engine control maps, inverted 50mm Marzocchi shocks in front and a remote reservoir rear shock from Sachs.
There is a chance that the MV Augusta 2010 F4 will live its dream to the fullest. Especially with the 998 cc, 4 cylinder engine, it surely keeps not all, but quite a few competitors in the dust. Almost perfect? Maybe.
