At Computex 2006 in Taipei MSI showcased the L740 notebook targetted at gamers. The L740 is powered by Intel Centrino Duo processor and 945GM chipset. It has a 103 key full-size keyboard ith a numberpad. Adding life to your gaming experience will be a 17" widescreen WXGA TFT (1440 x 900) or WSXGA (1680 x 1050) with dual view support. Specs include DVD super drive, 4 in 1 card reader, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g), Dual LAN, Modem, Bluetooth connectivity and DVB-T module. The L740 also includes a 1.3 Megapixel camera for web conferencing and taking snaps at the LAN party. The upper lid of the laptop has a beautiful petal design.

Pricing and availability of the MSI L740 is not known yet.
