MP3 Player and Recorder watch from Thanko
Thanko Japan known for whacky USB stuff has come up with the MP3 watch. The watch comes in two varaints AMP60256S with 512 MB Flash memory and AMP60512S with 256 MB. In addition to MP3 and WMA playback it can also record sound in MP3 format. Sound recording can be done via analog line input in MP3 format at 128 Kbps. With the 512MB model you can record upto 520 minutes and upto 260 minutes with the 256MB model. The watch connects to PC via USB 1.1 and can be used as a Mass storage device. The Lithium Ion battery charges fully in 2 hours and provides continuous playback for 9 hours. It comes bundled with ear phones.
The MP3 watch will be available from tommorow (Feb 18) in Japan. The 512MB model will sell for 19,800 Yen ($ 160) and 256MB model for 15,800 Yen ($ 120).
