It is an attractive device with the white and green highlights and it feels pretty solid in your hand. The phone features a 1.6-inch colour screen with 128 x 128-pixel resolution that supports 65k colours. There is no camera or web browser, so the candybar is very much a phone for those with basic needs.

The Motorola Renew is a dual-band GSM device that uses Motorola’s own CrystalTalk noise reduction magic, so chatting with friends and family will be crisp and clear. Storage is limited but it comes with a microSD slot, so you can add plenty of contacts and extras. The phone will cost users $10 over a two year contract, and it even comes with a pre paid shipping envelope to dispose it whenever need be.
