An upgrade to the Motorola Moto RIZR Z3 and Z6 is here, the MOTO RIZR Z8 is a superslim slider just 15.3 mm thick. It packs in a 2.2 inch display supporting 16 million colors, a 2 Megapixel camera with 8X zoom, LED flash and video recording and 90 MB of internal memory expandable to 4GB via Micro SD card slot. 3G is the buzzword for 2007 and the Z8 does not fall short of expectation as it supports HSDPA for download speeds upto 3.6 mbps. The user interface is redesigned offering easy access to the phone's functions. Other features include integrated media player, Bluetooth with A2DP profile and video playback at 30 fps. The phone is powered by Symbian OS.

The MOTORIZR Z8 is expected to be available in the first half of 2007.
