Since the Android phones that are around aren’t too stimulating to the curious gizmo freaks, I too wasn’t too excited about Motorola’s venture into the same. However, the Calgary seems to be something that may step out of the stereotype. Firstly, it will be on Verizon and secondly, the QWERTY slider phone out looks pretty good itself (it looks a lot like a MOTORazr annex to some extent, so you can expect some revolution against it). The main focus is most likely to be on social networking.

It’s been a while since Motorola spun out some brilliant yarn, so this time I am really hoping that the Calgary takes them one rung higher. Hmm… let’s wait and watch.
