There’s word that Mortal Kombat 9 (yes, 9!) will come out with what all of us MK fans have been waiting for: real, hardcore gore! No more pretty fatalities and kicks and special moves but real, gut wrenching gore for everyone to enjoy. It does inject that insensitive pleasure every time I punch the dork in the face. The sound, the whack seems to give us that sinister joy and accomplishment beyond compare. The new engine brings in tidings of bloodshed with an alleged ‘M’ rating, meant to give the weak hearted fans, a hard time.

As for us real time jaw-bangers, here’s a chance to get something really good for the cash we pay. Hopefully we will find something sweeter than the low budget gore movies or a Cannibal Corpse video.
