Mio A702 unveiled

The general perception one gets from the pictures of the new Mio A702 is that it is a cool and slick device. It integrates a GPS receiver, 3.2 megapixel digital camera with flash, a numeric keypad and supports microSD cards for memory expansion. The navigation key has a dedicated interface button on the left letting you to turn on or off the GPS receiver chip. The device has SiRFDirect feature (called NavSteadi) that enables better navigation experience by making use of heading and acceleration sensors to help with GPS reception in areas where signals are poor. The device runs on WIndows Mobile 6.0.
No word on pricing and availability of the Mio A702.

I like how they have included the numeric keypad on the front of the phone. I looked at the Mio a701 when it first came out and the lack of a keypad was a real drawback and stopped me from going ahead with the purchase. Looks like its available to order in the UK already
