We had the UMPC, OLPC, Netbook and now taking the trend of miniaturization further is the Minipad from a Korean startup Minipass. The company is the brainchild of founder and former CEO of Reigncom which is iRiver's parent company. The wireless handheld device has a 2.86 inch OLED touchscreen display supporting QVGA resolution, Wi-Fi, 4GB of internal memory, camera and stylus. It easily fits into your packet and you can browse the Internet, watch movies, play music, chat and blog. The battery is good for 30 hours of music and 5 hours of video playback. Nothing great except or the compact size as the iPod touch can do all of this. The Minipad is available in Korea only for 199,000 KRW ($ 125).
