Mind-controlled prototype wheelchair is unbelievable

Mind-controlled_wheelchair.jpg The mind-controlled wheelchair’s prototype has been developed at the University of Zaragoza in Spain. It uses an EEG cap worn on the head, using a P300 neurophysiological protocol and automated navigation. This is how it works. The user sees a real-time visualization of his surroundings on the screen in front of him and then concentrates on the space where he wants to navigate to. Once the location is chosen, the user can just sit back and relax as the wheelchair will do the rest of work. Now isn’t that cool! There is no information on the commercialization of this prototype. I really hope they would because it has been successfully tested by 5 different participants.
