Microtek is now shipping its CX6 XGA DLP projector. The 2000 lumens brightness promises crisp, clear imaging for presentations, even in less-than-optimal lighting conditions. It has a contrast ratio of 2000:1 for high detail, color and clarity. It has a native resolution of 1024x768. Connections on the CX6 are individually marked for easy set up. Inputs for video or graphics include DVI for direct digital connection, DVI-to-VGA adapter for auto-sensing analogue PC connection, component video, S-Video and composite video inputs. It includes automatic de-interlacing, built-in 2:3 film detection and a DLP processor from Texas Instruments. The CX6 comes with a remote control that incorporates a laser pointer. The remote also offers access to a computer or mouse capabilities from anywhere in the room via a USB connection.
