At the Fluid Power International trade fair in Tokyo the Kanagawa institute showed off their crown jewel an air powered full body suit. The brainchild of Professor Yamamoto who himself suffers from hip injury, the robot using AI technology understands the needs of the patient and adjusts itself accordingly. The onboard Ni-MH batteries provide 20 minutes of power. Currently in the development stage there is still a lot of room for improvement.
