Maxtor has launched its new OneTouch III Turbo Edition external hard disk drive. Main features of the drive include a new design to make the drive easily stackable, storage capacity of up to 1TB (1000GB), improved acoustics, self-adjusting cooling system, configurable as either RAID 0 or RAID 1 (an industry first), and the ability to automatically synchronise files between two or more systems on the same operating platform. The OneTouch III Turbo Edition (136x65x217mm) comes in a 600GB (£410 ex. VAT) or 1TB (£684 ex. VAT) capacity and features a triple USB 2.0/FireWire 400/FireWire 800 interface for easy connection to a Mac or PC.
