Maxell Japan has announced the MXSP-100P portable speakers for use with portable audio devices and mobile phones. This cute little stereo speaker system is small enough to fit in your pocket and connects to other devices using stereo mini plug. It has a belt loop on the rear but I seriously doubt if anyone would use that. The unit delivers an output of 1.2W×2ch and is powered by 4 x AA batteries which provide continuous playback of 20 hours.

The Maxell MXSP-100P measures 145×67×85mm and weighs 198 grams. Available in a two colors Black and White it is available in Japan for 2500 Yen ($ 20).
