Mario hoops 3on3 is similar to Mario Kart but instead of racing you play basketball. At the start of the game player has to choose three players to play on their side. You can select from Mario, Luigi, Princess, Wario, Yoshi and Browser Jr, each character has their own strengths and weaknesses. Like Mario Kart players can activate power ups like Turtle shells and Mushrooms for in game attacks. Players control the selected player with the D-pad, and the stylus is used for the ball-handling. Two people can play together using the multiplayer option there is a special mini game which allows 4 people to play simultaneously.

Mario hoops 3on3 goes on sale on July 27 in Japan for 4,800 Yen ($ 42)
