Marantz is working on a Universal Blu-ray desk built upon their technology inside their reference SACD-CD player, SA-7S1. Like Denon, it’s another D&M Holdings product, targeting high-end, deep pocketed audio/video enthusiasts. It will feature the company’s Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module, dual-SHARC HD audio processing, BD-Live, 10-bit Silicon Optix Realta Chipset, 36-bit color/297Mhz/14-bit Video DAC and has a SD card slot. The price and availability has not been announced yet for the UD9004 and it is not expected to be out any time soon either.
