We have seen quite a few stupid products but the Maplin Car DVD Player takes the cake. What in the world were the designers at Maplin thinking when they thought of putting a 2.5 inch screen for you to watch DVD movies. Obviously it remains out of bounds for the driver to watch, leaving only the passengers as the only logical choice for an audience who will need magnification glasses to see what is going on. The only sensible use of the display is for visualization or menu purposes. For those who are still interested in buyong one it can play DVD/VCD/MP3/CD/CD-R/CR-RW discs.
