Lufthansa attracts flyers by Tweeting

Lufthansa.jpg Tweeting is the next FB-ing (FaceBooking you know). After we heard and read about all sorts of weird things getting to tweet these days, this new entry isn’t that surprising, but amusing nonetheless. It is the Lufthansa Airlines flights. They have set up a new service named MySkyStatus which automatically posts the current position of your flight to Twitter or Facebook allowing your friends to know where exactly you are at. Like for example, you are flying to Japan from South Africa – then you will get a message saying ‘flying over Bahrain on Emirates’ or ‘flying over Dubai on Etihad’ from Jordan to India … stuff like that. You wouldn’t want ot use it to create surprises though – cause the ‘virtual’ world is a small world.
