Louis Vuitton pays tribute to Apollo 11’s with the “Malle Mars” trunk
To mark the 40th Anniversary of Apollo 11’s iconic lunar landing on July 20th 1969, Louis Vuitton has designed the “Malle Mars” trunk. This space-age looking piece opens up to unveil a variety of compartments and drawers to carry different essential items. It will be on display at the Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History, exhibited by NASA. The history making astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Jim Lovell and Sally Ride will also be present at the event with Daniel Lalonde, America president and chief executive officer of Louis Vuitton North. We wonder how much this robotic looking thing costs though.
