The Lite-On LH-2B1S SATA Blu-ray Disc Triple Writer will soon be available in Japan. Using next gen Blue Laser technology the drive can record up to 25GB data on one BD-R / BD-RE media. It connects via SATA interface and can write on BD-R / BD-RW media at 2X, read Blu-Ray media at 2X too. It can write DVD+R & DVD-R media at 12X and CD-R discs at 32X. It ships with Power DVD for playback and Power Producer and Power2Go for authoring.

The Lite-On LH-2B1S will be available in Japan from December 6 for 69,800 Yen ($ 600).
